Day 12 Week 1 day 4 c25k

Well last night was another not sleeping well night. I did get a couple of hours but not many. Cuppy and I were texting again and I think I slept to much the night before what with the 12 hours of sleep I got. But I got up at 4 and was going to go wog, but talked to Cuppy and she hadn't slept at all. So after thinking about how I felt on tuesday trying to drive home after a wog and no sleep we decided it was safer to wog later in the day. So I went back to bed for another 2 hours and Cuppy went to bed. I got up for Penny 's arrival and her and her and I played for a bit. When she napped I did too. So I got another hour or so of sleep.
Had a wonderful day with Penny. She was in a great mood. We had a great morning together and early afternoon.
After she left with her mommy I headed up to Cuppy's. Mom Green needed to fit us to the patterns so would know which size to make. My top is a 20, dang boobs, but my bottom is a 14ish. LOL Cuppy and I need the same size bottom but her top is smaller than mine, lucky girl. After we were done with that we strapped on our wogging shoes and headed to a new park, well one we hadn't been to before, Dolese park. It has a dirt running trail and is about 2 miles around. The longest one yet that we have found other than Lake Hefner.

It started off kind of warm but wasn't to bad and cooled down from low 90s to the 80s quickly. I enjoyed the new scenery and different terrain. But the wind did get a little frisky with me when it blew my shirt up. And all the soccer and baseball games going on were neat to see. Was all little kids. There were even some little cheerleaders out. Everytime we went past the fields someone was cheering so I had to wooohoooo too. lol
We went around twice. We did the 1 and 2 minute intervals the first time. But we were wore out after the first lap. The wind was killer and the hills were steeper than what we are used to. So the second lap we did walk 4 run 1 minute intervals. We started the second lap and then Cuppy decided she needed a pit stop. Was no way  she could run having to go bathroom without peeing herself. I would have thought it funny if she did but I don't think she would have. HEHE

And again you see the difference in the distance.

I am proud of us for going and doing this. I have decided that I prefer to wog in the morning, but doing it in the evening from time to time is ok. It switches things up and kind of confuses my body.
When I got home I made some of my sloppy joes and ate it without bread. It was so good I ate it all.....but was just turkey meat and veg with a little bbq sauce in it so wasnt to bad.

I had a wonderful day. And got some things done that I wanted to do. Thanks for wogging with me Cuppy!

Day 11

Today was another no wog day. I got up  and waited for Penny and her mommy to arrive. Was an uneventful day. Penny and I played together as usual, the girls came home for lunch and Penny went home. I spent most of the day crocheting pink hats for us to wear for the Race for the cure Breast cancer walk. I did some pushups and squats and donkey kicks but not much else when it comes to exercise.

After Penny went home with her mommy I hung out at the house till Savvy got home, then we hung out and watched tv and had dinner. As I said uneventful, but nice none the less. I should have taken Lexi for a walk, but ended up with a headache, probably from crocheting. But I decided to rest to get rid of the headache so I could wog the next morning.
Not a bad day but also not good when it comes to exercising.

Day 10 week 1 day 3 c25k

So I never did go to sleep. But I decided that I had to still go wog because I would have Penny all day and if I didn't get it done in the morning it might not get done. So I got up and texted Cuppy to see how she was doing. She wasn't feeling well again so instead of meeting her I went to Earlywine by myself. I will say that it was a nice cool morning but it was spooky as heck there. There was only 2 other people on the track at 445am, two older men. So I started out my walking warm up heading in the opposite direction from what they were going so that I could pass them and not feel so alone. LOL silly I know but I've never done this this early alone before.

I took a couple pix at the start but it was super dark and the flash would blind me so I didn't want to use it. You can kinda see me. LOL
I found that I was struggling with this wog. At first I thought it was because I was doing it alone, but I did Sunday's alone and didnt struggle as much. But it's probably because I did not sleep at all the night before and I was running on fumes, kind of literally. It was pretty out though. Could see some starts and it was quiet and didn't have to worry about alot of people, but running past some of the trees was scary. I had my pepper spray ready the whole time just in case. LOL

These aren't very flattering pix but this was after about 30 minutes of wogging. I was getting tired and seriously struggling to keep going. But Keep going I did. I had to finish at least an hour. I just had to!
 And I did!

But of course they showed different distances. But I Went farther and I think even though I felt like I was struggling that my pace was better this time than last time. I'm super proud of myself.
On the drive home though I was a bit worried. I felt like I was drunk. I know it was just lack of sleep but sometimes driving tired is worse than driving drunk. But I took my time and didn't hurry and prayed that nothing happened on my way home and I got home safely. I sat and chilled till Penny and her mom got there. Penny played happily in her pack n play and I fell asleep, Bad babysitter I know. But when I awoke a hour or so later Penny was passed out in her pack n play and the bottle she had was almost empty. So I went back to sleep for another 30 min or so. When she woke I got up and we played and hung out until Savvy got home from school and then she helped me with Penny since I was fighting to stay awake. When Jess got there I had fallen asleep. I felt bad because I was supposed to be the one watching Penny but Jess seemed ok with it. Thank you Savvy for helping me out! Love you!
After Penny and her mommy left I went to bed. That was bout 630-7. I started a movie but I don't think I made it much past the opening credits. LOL So I got my wog in but not much else. I don't think I even ate much that day. I know I had a coffee. But I can't remember if I ate. LOL

Not my best day but not my worst. At least I still got my wogging in.

Day 9

Today was another day of no wogging. I spent most of the day playing with Penny and hanging out at the house. I did do some push-up and squats and a few other strengthening exercises so today wasn't a complete loss when it comes to exercise. I again thought about going for a walk but that did not happen.
I helped her stand up

She fell and was unhappy about that

Trying to stand on her own

OOOH A DOGGIE!

mmmmmmm yum

MORE!

After Penny left the evening was spent hanging out at the house with Savvy and watching tv. Not an exciting day, but had fun with Penny. I went to bed and tossed and turned couldn't sleep. Texted with Cuppy until really really late. But.........did I ever fall asleep? What do you think?

Day 8 c25k Week 1 day 2

So Cuppy and I had planned on getting up super early this day and meeting and wogging together, but she wasn't feeling well. So We slept in and wogged alone. I had a hard time making myself leave the house, but I eventually talked myself into going because I had made this commitment to myself. So around 10ish I headed to a local park, Veterans Memorial park, here in Moore. It was a pretty morning, but starting to get warm.
There were quite a few people out and it was kinda weird since Cuppy and I are usually out so early there's not many people or we are at the canal super early and there is no one but us there. But it was nice to not be there alone.  I wogged for an hour and 5 minutes plus a 5 minute warm up walk and 5 minute cool down walk. I even stretched before and after ( I think the stretching is a big deal because I don't usually do it. Cuppy and Gregg are always getting on me about it.) I did over 5 miles but again the RunKeeper and the Nike bean pod had different distances. I am starting to think it's because the pod is a pedometer and I take small steps so it counts more steps. I'm not sure yet though. But it is kind of frustrating to have them so far off from each other.

Cuppy thinks the Nike pod is more accurate but I don't know. Either way I think I had a really good pace going for someone that doesn't run. I am proud of myself for doing this.

I went to Cuppy's later in the day and as I turned onto her street she was walking onto it. She had gone for her own wog a bit later in the day. I'm proud she went since she still wasn't feeling well.
she sweats weird lol

I was at Cuppy's so we could work on our Halloween costumes. We got the pattern pieces cut out from each other and that's about it. We did alot of talking, but I think she was needing to talk, she has ALOT going on right now, but that's her story. I took some pix of our fabric but the lighting doesn't really show the colors right.
This is mine but it's not this dark it's a lighter brighter orange with the silver skulls on it

This is Cuppy's but the spider webs and spiders are actually pink not purple

It's funny that she is the one that will be wearing the pink and me the orange. Pink is my favorite color, well one of them, but I love love love bright colors. So I picked the orange. I can't wait for our costumes to be done!
Another wonderful day. I wogged like I had planned and commited to myself and I got to see my CuppyCake

Day 7 Daddys bday dinner

Today was a rest day. I considered going walking in the evening, but ended up not being able to work it in to my plans. I slept in this day pretty late and then just hung out at the house with Savvy most of the afternoon. Until we decided to go to the store. While we were out my dad texted and said he was off work. I was wanting to take him to dinner for his birthday so he went home to shower and Savvy and I went home and she showered and I changed and we headed out to Bridge Creek to pick up my daddy. We chatted with my sister and her guy for a bit and Savvy played with Deb's new puppy.

The puppy's name is Goober, I think

We went to Cimmaron Steak house, daddy's favorite plays to eat.
Dad playing on his fancy phone
We all had steaks but of course Savvy had the biggest. And she ate it all! They brought out my steak and I had ordered it rare, but it was a weird dark red color. I went ahead and tasted it but it didn't taste right, so of course I made dad and Savvy taste it and they too said it didn't taste right. I told the waitress and she took it back and brought me a new one. I've never had a bad steak there before so I wasn't real upset about it, but I did think that they would discount my meal at least. They didn't. Oh well the second steak was YUUUMY!
And we had a good time just chatting away with each other.

Yup dad did play on his phone alot, but then I did too, just no pix of me doing it. LOL

After dinner I got a craving for ice cream, I know I know shame on me and I paid for it that night through the next day. We went to braums and Dad and I had sundaes while savvy had a frozen yogurt twist in a waffle cone. It was all YUMMY! After desert we drove dad back home and then we went home. It wasn't an active day but I got to see my daddy and spend time with him and my Savvy. So it was a great day. Love you daddy!
